Nostalgia

I am feeling rather nostalgic today. In fact, I get that way very often. You want things to go back to the way they were and remember what you looked like and what you felt. Hmmm I wonder if the Pevensies ever felt that way? Or Polly or Diggory or... you get the picture. I just went back to some of my earliest posts and remembered what things were like then. Before El and I went to school together, when Vi was still here (*sniff*), when I didn't have to put up with half of this good for nothing high school drama. (Not drama club!!! That is perfectly good for something!)

Comment if you remember when...

  1. Before we went to school together.....wow. I remember being so excited, counting down the years and then the months, weeks, and finally days...and now here we are, halfway through! It hasn't been easy, I hate history class, and Hitler and Moussolini have been rough on our friendship. Hitler more so, but whatever................

I miss Vi. I loved her fanfic and she was the one that inspired me to start "Yellow Rose". I should start writing again. The last I wrote anything was in my diary more than a week ago. I wish I had more time and I wish I had that time to actually sit down and write.

As I've said once before: Keep singing, keep playing the piano, keep writing, and keep dreaming.

  2. Who's Moussolini!? I know who Hitler is... Ohmigawsh, I sound like I know nothing about US History but I DO!!! CODE NAMES, CODE NAMES, CODE NAMES! Hahaha kind of like when Courtney and I came up with code names for all the guys in the grade ahead of us... cuz there were only four. LOL!

Let's see, I remember when my Dad first introduced me to the world of literature. I remember the horrific Narnian BBC films, not to mention the comic book version of The LWW. *shudders* And then there was the animated film 'The Hobbit'... What else do we remember?

  3. I remember when my sisters and I used to watch The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe like all the time and when we weren't watching it, we were reciting it line for line...*sigh*. Such good times.
